Best Western Bloomington Edina - Minneapolis

Kids liked the breakfast. Nice and clean rooms. Liked the complimentary coffee available in the lobby.

The front desk associate at the time of my check-in was super friendly and helpful. She was great! I believe her name was Tiara(?). She was a black woman, in the 30s age range. Overall, it was clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be that the day of my check out.

The location was great for my needs. I thought that the breakfasts were very good. Since I stayed several nights, I did go purchase my own flatware cup glass and plates to improve my experience. I appreciated designated family time in pool.

The Most~ Breakfast. EMPLOYEE "O" (the Breakfast Supervisor) stands out 100%. He does his job with excellence. His task is not just the work of filling tummies!! **on that note, it is very apparent he has taken a food handling course. (His job, to ensure we don't get sick after because of poor food safety) ** He deals with sleepy grumpy People, answering questions and filling needs faithfully, most consistently, and with a gentle grace and patience. The two mornings we were there...December 16-17 2023 "O" quietly served us, quietly and with intent. He did this to all those eating there. It was like we meant the World to him. Intent~ "O" kept filling up the food right to the end....for all the late comers. His intent delivers the standards of Best Western. From all the staff we had met I will remember one face and one face only ~ "O" the gentle servant..... the Face of Best Western Bloomington, Minneapolis 2023! Congratulations Best Western, hiring "O" is so much beyond Diversity. His work effort, the standard of cleanliness, knowlng the importance of cleaning a table top vs. a seat, keeping separate cloths (my biggest pet pieve.) He worked to be a blessing to all. I don't know too many with the same "chutzpah", drive to excellence!! This young man encourages us to return again, by his ACTIONS! And, because our stay was close to the standards we expected, we will return. The Price was good, the Equipment good , value very good....as good as the ad promised. We both appreciated our stay~ 'O" took it to a new level.... That alone made all the difference. Post Note: the Employees we did encounter were "ok". The front desk was so patient and friendly. They was an outage in the credit process and was very patient and understanding to make it work. We will definitely come back and very family friendly. The beds were very comfortable.
